God has it.....

I ask you, if God can make the beauty above and put it in place and then what makes us even think for a minute He does not have the election, this nation, our body, our souls and our spirits in His hand?? I recieved a phone call today about "good luck charms" that Obama had in his pocket and has carried with him throughout the campaign. On further review of those "charms" I found they were nothing but occultish in nature and gave glory to deities other than the Lord Jesus Christ. I prayed and asked the Lord what to do and He laughed and said, my child let it go, glorify Me!!!! He has it all in His plan and in His hands. I can imagine that in the heavenlies today He assembled His armies before Him and spoke His plan in to existence and commissioned His heavenly hosts accordingly to carry that plan out. Give Him glory and praise for what He is doing. He has it!!!!
Tomorrow will come and His Words will still reign true, His plan will still go forth and His love will still be the same. Trust in Him with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge HIM and He will direct your paths. When we are weak then He is strong. His the Way the Truth and the Life let's start treating Him like it.

Honoring the Lord

The election has everyone a little upset. But let's think about this for a minute, instead of bad mouthing other people which we are told in the Word of God not to do we need to honor the Lord our God. In reality He is aware of the situation as I am sure not only has Heaven been bombarded with prayers but after all He is the Lord, our God. He is the First, the Last, the Beginning, the End, the Alpha, the Omega and our Comforter just to name a few. He has this election and He knows what is going to happen. Go before the Lord and ask forgiveness for all the negative things spoken out of your mouth and the mouth of others and then praise Him for who He is and who He is always going to be. We gain victory through praising Him and He is just like any other Daddy, He loves to be praised and loved. He loves to be respected and be lifted up for the Daddy who He is.

We can accomplish more through praise than we can conspiring about all the stuff that is going around and listening to ads on TV etc. Sometimes we just have to turn off the world completely and get before the Lord and hear what He has to say. I am not saying that we should not "educate" ourselves but we should run to the Lord with open arms and bow before Him and seek His will and face.

Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually. I Chronicles 16:11

Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore. Psalm 105:4

I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high. Psalm 7:17
I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High. Psalm 9:2

Lion of Judah

These pictures remind me of the Lord Jesus Christ and our Daddy, Jehovah. Jesus died on the cross so we would not have to spend an eternity in a living hell. He did this because He loves us very much. He will return one day as a victorious Saviour and will rule and reign. These pictures depict the many characters of the Lord-His victory over the grave, His majesty, His love, His constantly watching over us and His power, glory and might.

Prayer

Nehemiah 1:11
O Lord, I beseech thee, let now thine ear be attentive to the prayer of thy servant, and to the prayer of thy servants, who desire to fear thy name: and prosper, I pray thee, thy servant this day, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man.

II Chronicles 7:14-15
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer [that is made] in this place.
Philemon 4:6
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
I Peter 4:7
But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
Matthew 21:22
And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
Luke 6:12
And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.
The scripture is literally littered with words regarding prayer. Even Jesus prayed, that was Jesus praying in Luke 6:12. No matter where you are in this world we are in trying and crucial times. We will only survive it by relying on God and keeping communication with God through prayer going. We have a wonderful opportunity to speak to the Creator of the universe and our very beings and we have the privelege of hearing Him speak to us in return. May we all get on our knees and make our request known but also may we take the time to listen for His answers. He alone is God!!!

Foxes

Ezekiel 13:3 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing! 4 O Israel, thy prophets are like the foxes in the deserts.
Song of Solomon 2:15 Seize for us the foxes, the little foxes, that injure the vineyards; for our vineyards have young grapes.

Just as foxes have holes in the ground, there may be sin in our heart that has been lurking there for an undetermined time. God is able to search and try the heart, and cleanse it from this sin. Psalm 26:2 Try me, O Lord, and prove me; purify my reins and my heart.

The lusts, sins and deceptions of our nature of flesh, God has correctly termed as "deceitful lusts." (Ephesians 4:17-32)

Crooked paths, which are a distortion of the straight path that God has laid before us. Just as foxes take crooked paths, we too are tempted to follow a crooked path. We are exhorted to make straight paths for ourselves in Hebrews 12:13.

The foxes have spoiled the vines, and vanquished the tender grapes; so too, sin will make our life barren and unfruitful. We will become as parched places in the wilderness, (Jeremiah 17:6) which is opposite of our instructions in John 15:16.
The foxes may also be false teachers or heretics.

Overflowing!!!!

Colossians 2:7:7 Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.

1 Thessalonians 3:12:12 And may the Lord make your love for one another and for all people grow and overflow, just as our love for you overflows.

Philippians 1:9 I pray that your love will overflow more and more, and that you will keep on growing in knowledge and understanding.

2 Corinthians 9:14 And they will pray for you with deep affection because of the overflowing grace God they are being tested by many troubles, and they are very poor. But they are also filled with abundant joy, which has overflowed in rich generosity.

Romans 15:13 I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.

John 15:11 I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow!

Luke 7:13 When the Lord saw her, his heart overflowed with compassion. “Don’t cry!” he said.

May you all overflow with the truth, thankfulness, love, knowledge, understanding, affection, grace, joy, peace, trust, hope and compassion that can only be transcended correctly through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit and our Abba Father (Daddy). God's blessings to you all!!!

Not Popular Words-Tolerance and Justification

2 Timothy 4:2-4
2Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. 3For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.

I Corinthians 6:12-20
12"Everything is permissible for me"—but not everything is beneficial. "Everything is permissible for me"—but I will not be mastered by anything. 13"Food for the stomach and the stomach for food"—but God will destroy them both. The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. 14By his power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us also. 15Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never! 16Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, "The two will become one flesh." 17But he who unites himself with the Lord is one with him in spirit.
18Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body. 19Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.

There is alot of sexual immorality in this world in fact this week one very popular man was found to be committing adultery with a staff member. God's Word is pretty outspoken as you can see above about sexual immorality. I believe we have as a nation become a nation of tolerance on many levels as a result of not being ready in season and out of season. I don't believe as a nation that we put up with sound doctrine but quite the opposite we justify and create ways for our own desires to be met.
